    Olive Oil
  • 1
    clove(s)
    Garlic
    large, peeled and crushed
  • 1
    whole
    Red Onion
    small/medium peeled and finely diced
  • 1
    cup(s)
    Leg Ham
    diced
  • 1
    can(s)
    Italian Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • 1
    cup(s)
    Tomato Sauce
  • 1
    tbsp
    Dry Mustard
  • 2
    tbsp
    Worcestershire Sauce
  • 0
    cup(s)
    Cider Vinegar
  • 1
    tsp
    Celery Salt
  • 0
    tsp
    Cayenne Pepper
  • 1
    tbsp
    Fresh Parsley
    finely chopped
  • 2

    Italian Cennelini Beans
    good quality, drained and very gently rinsed

Directions

  • 1 In a large frying pan cook the garlic, onion and ham without colouring the vegetables.
  • 2 Add all other ingredients except the beans and simmer for five minutes.
  • 3 Add the beans and stir gently for five more minutes.
  • 4 Serve with sourdough toast.
